The Natty 20s rocked motherfrackin summer league this year and the moment should be commemorated. We lost once to Tequila Mockingbird and once to the Landsharks. We beat the G-bots once and then tied them in our final game. A rematch is pending...

Anyway, it was a great season and hopefully we'll hit one more tourney before the weather gets all Portlandlike.

Yes, Nationals are right around the corner and throwin' dice isn't helping you work off that goblin gut, dwarf dough, troll tub, or whatever hunk of flab you've acquired in this season of feast and bounty. Sweet... Winter League, it's not far from your house, especially if you ride your bike, trust me.

What:
2010 Winter League is a recreational (non-competitive) mixed (co-ed) league emphasizing spirit, participation and learning the sport of ultimate. All ages, ability and experience levels are welcome and encouraged to join!

NEW TURF, NEW LOCATION and NEW TIME
When:
Friday Nights, January through March from 7pm - 9:30pm. Lights turn off at 9:30, so games will start at 7, sharp. Please show up earliy.

Hanford Howl X!!?!

Hark 20s!! Given our complete and unquestionable Victory in Victoria last year, it has been decided that a renewed campaign into the far north will not be necessary at this time. Rather, we shall now direct our halberds and lances to the more immediate realm of Hanford near the hamlet of Richland, Washington. It has been arranged that formal engagement will occur on the 31st of October and the 1st of November. Obviously it would be wise to arrange for the preceding Friday and proceeding Monday to be free of laborious obligations so that you may focus more clearly on your duties, preparations and recovery. This campaign is likely to be even more fruitful than the Pumpkin Pull, if that can possibly be conceived. Hanford Howl is said to be quite festive and is indeed a benefit for ye Special Olympics. We ask that you direct all queries and petitions to Lady Jill Sargent or her chamber clerk Rufio. Training has already commenced and will continue every Wednesday at 6pm at Rigler Elementary (ne 55th and Prescott) until further notice. Field Training will be proceeded with libations, snackiths and strategy exercises/game night at the Club House on the Estate of her Lady and aforementioned clerk. Our bid has been secured and financial offerings have been arranged for and sent though tribute from all ABLE participating parties is requested. Many other logistical requirements, such as lodging, have yet to be arranged though all willing parties shall be kept posted as developments occur. Otherwise report to Tuesday pick-up at 22nd and Powell for the most current information. Remember to begin procuring your Vestments and Arms posthaste so that they may be of the highest quality come mid Fall. May you all be emboldened, spirited and totally FIT!! (whoa 20s...)

It was David's 25th birthday on Wednesday so a few of us Natural 20s headed out to the coast to celebrate. Mike and I are planning a hiking trip next Wednesday to either Mt. Saint Helens or Mcneil Point on Mt. Hood. We're going on adventures pretty much every tuesday and wednesday now. Let us know if you want to join in on one. If you show up to frisbee tuesday mornings at 10am you'll be sure to get the latest info of where we're headed next.

Hello everyone! This is my first official blog post ever, I think. Here goes... I noticed we are enjoying less and less after-work daylight. This saddens me as it means less time in which to play Ultimate. So, I was thinking we should play during the day! Then I thought, hey, I don't work on Fridays, perhaps that could be an Ultimate day. Anybody free on Friday mornings or early afternoons? Also, this is kind of a ploy to hang out with the old summer league gang. So whadaya think?

Please send me an email asap if you want to go, we have just enough Twenties to play with a couple subs but we're going to need more if we're really going to hold our own pounding those little Lucky Lagers. If you don't have a passport get your behjeezing application in tomorrow! You still have just enough time to have 'em get it to you in three weeks-- seriously Palin its about time you got a darn passport already. If money is a concern don't worry too much about it cause we can spot you if thats yer only trouble, but with the van and tourney fees and hotel, things should come out to about $150 or so a pop and'll only get cheaper by the dozen.
